A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well then, instead of writing a post today I’ll leave you with one picture. It’s from me and Clint’s engagement photo session and is possibly one of our favorites.
I can’t believe it’s already Friday, this week just flew right on by. I subbed back at my old job for their Summer Camp and it made the days seem so quick and a bit sad, kind of like that scene in a movie where the big city girl goes back to her small home town just to see that life went on without her. Oh, i miss it. FYI- in my life movies I am always played by Reese Witherspoon.
I pulled together a photo collage to showcase my weekend and figured since it was all complete I might as well throw it up here on the bloggy blog. For you’re viewing pleasure…
I got to spend time with my favorite puppy, my favorite kitty, and of course my most favorite fiancé. Clint and I picked up our wedding bands. They are fitted, engraved, shining and ready to be exchanged 🙂 We played a bit of tennis and of course enjoyed some yummy eats. I also threw in a sequence of pictures for you all. This is to show you what it’s really like to take pictures with Clint. It basically involves me taking a picture, Clint refusing for at least three times and then if I get it at just the right moment we have ourselves a nice little photo. It’s a process. And it fills up my phones memory. But I love all our little outtakes. We also managed to run across what I’m referring to as “the giant dog convention”. A big group of people convened at a local shopping center and they all had gigantic dogs. Like, mega giant dogs. I’d be afraid to stand near one, let alone have one as my pet. God Bless the people who take those giant things into their homes.
This is a little post about what real life is like. And sometimes it’s really messy.
You see, when Clint suggested that we go to the good old DQ to get a sweet treat I envisioned something along these lines occurring…
We would be so cute and happy and put together. I was pretty pumped for our sweet moment together. However, real life, is never that perfect. For me and mine it looks a lot more like this…
I’m sure one day I’ll perfect the craft of eating an ice cream cone, but until then I’ll just keep on loving how when I end up like this Clint helps me wash my hand with a bottle of water over a trash can. If you ask me, that’s way more fun than picture perfect cone eating anyways.
Fashion Friday is back y’all. I desperately needed this, especially as I am moving into a period of unemployment- a girl needs some inspiration to put an outfit together sometimes.
Aside from pulling together some outfits I have all but officially decided that ‘the bun’ is going to be my go-to hair style of the summer. No blow dryer, no curling iron, no straightener. AND I happen to have myself a hair tie right now that wraps around my little bun three times perfectly. Ladies, you know what I’m talking about… hair ties that are too small to twist three times but then too loose for the third twist… irritating. So I’ve got my perfect little hair tie and my simple little hairstyle and we’re kicking off Summer time together.
Sorry for the poor quality on some of these. My mom works better with my phone then she does with my camera so the iPhone pics are about as good as it’s gonna get for this week.
